New Year New You
If you are like me you have many things stirring in your heart to do in this upcoming new year!
God has given me great clarity in the past couple years about what he has called me to do and I am so grateful for that.
However there are also things in my life that remain unsettled and unsure.
While there is much to be done sometimes that alone can become quite overwhelming to say the least.
1 Peter 5:7
Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
God hasn't called us to worry or stress but to REST.
Especially during the Holidays people can be just as busy as ever and sometimes have a hard time taking a real REST.
But it's so important.
God builds the house
Whether this has been a challenging year for you or an easy one lets go into this new year with our expectation on God.
With God all things are possible!
Whether you need a new perspective, healing in your body or strength in your soul - let's not forget the reason why Jesus came - why he was born in a manger.
He came for the broken hearted, the overwhelmed, the down and out - he came for those in need of a new perspective and a real rest - for those in need of a soul makeover.
Life on this planet definitely has its ups and downs emotionally and it doesn't seem to be getting more safe and secure in our global world with the threat of terrorism in our wake on a daily basis.
But the wonderful gift and reminder that this season brings is that there is an anchor for our soul and his name is Jesus.
He came in the most humble and miraculous way to save his creation from its impending doom by giving us a Savior for our souls - Christ the Lord.
Lean on HIS LOVE this season and trust him to bring you into this new year with grace and PeACE
